On Tuesday 30 November 2021, Luxembourg's Ministry of Health reported 171 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) infections; there have been 875 fatalities (one new death since Monday) resulting from the virus to date.

171 Luxembourg residents tested positive on Tuesday from a total of 2,924 tests carried out the day before, representing 26.94 people per 100,000 inhabitants. The positivity rate was 5.85%. Wednesday 18 November 2020 marked the record daily high of 891 new cases. 

The average daily increase (over a 7-day period) is currently 223.14. 

A total of 64 people are in hospital with the virus, including twelve patients in intensive care. 

There are currently 4,387 active infections known, whilst a total of 83,919 people have recovered from the virus to date. The effective reproduction rate in Luxembourg stands at 1.07.

A total of 907,033 vaccinations have been carried out in Luxembourg to date (446,102 first doses, 389,606 second doses, 71,325 additional doses). A total of 429,705 people are now fully vaccinated.
