On Monday 29 November 2021, Luxembourg's Ministry of Health reported 79 new COVID-19 (coronavirus) infections; there have been 874 fatalities (eight new deaths over the weekend) resulting from the virus to date.

79 Luxembourg residents tested positive on Monday from a total of 612 tests carried out the day before, representing 12.45 people per 100,000 inhabitants. The positivity rate was 12.93%. Wednesday 18 November 2020 marked the record daily high of 891 new cases. 

The average daily increase (over a 7-day period) is currently 221.43. 

A total of 60 people are in hospital with the virus, including ten patients in intensive care. 

There are currently 4,267 active infections known, whilst a total of 83,869 people have recovered from the virus to date. The effective reproduction rate in Luxembourg stands at 1.16.

A total of 903,715 vaccinations have been carried out in Luxembourg to date (445,860 first doses, 389,480 second doses, 68,375 additional doses). A total of 429,572 people are now fully vaccinated.
