Since the launch of the long-COVID multidisciplinary care network pilot project on 1 August 2021, a total of 89 patients have already been registered.

Scheduled for a period of 6 months, this pilot project was developed to respond to the worrying emergence of this new public health problem.

"It is essential that long-COVID patients are treated appropriately and that they avoid a long and exhausting diagnostic journey," said Luxembourg's Minister of Health, Paulette Lenert. "This is why I am making a strong appeal to anyone who has suffered from a COVID-19 infection and who presents symptoms of long-COVID to first consult their general practitioner (or specialist) and to participate in this project."
