Luxembourg's Ministry of Health has launched a census of healthcare professionals via the platform www.govjobs.lu to help in the fight against coronavirus.
From Monday 23 March until midnight on Tuesday 24 March 2020, healthcare professionals are invited to register on this platform aimed at optimising the management of the national health reserve.
Registration is compulsory for regulated health professions. The call is also intended for doctors in the process of specialisation, students, retirees and people on unpaid leave.
In addition, this platform aims to coordinate the call for volunteers by publishing needs in the health and care sector in a targeted manner.
Two sections accompanied by an online form are available on the platform: a section dedicated exclusively to employed, retired or student (over 18) healthcare professionals; a call for volunteers to provide support in the health and care sector.
For an efficient organisation, potential volunteers are asked to register their interest exclusively via this platform, which is managed by a team from the Ministry of Health and the Centre de gestion du personnel et de l'organisation de l'État. They will then be contacted by telephone or email depending on the evolution of the situation and the needs of the health and care entities.
