As of 09:00 on Wednesday morning, the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Luxembourg had risen to 203, including two deaths.
These official figures are up from the 140 confirmed cases (and one death) published yesterday on the Ministry of Health's dedicated website.
The first coronavirus-related death (that of a 94-year-old man) occurred on Friday 13 March 2020. The man in question had been in a critical condition since the day before. A second death has now been reported, although further details are yet to be known.
Indeed, Luxembourg's Ministry of Health confirmed on Tuesday that six of the then 140 confirmed cases had been hospitalised, with one in intensive care.
