Luxembourg's Ministry of Health yesterday confirmed that two more people in the Grand Duchy had tested positive for COVID-19 (coronavirus).
The Health Ministry reported that the individuals infected had returned from a stay in the United States and Switzerland respectively. They are currently being treated according to the usual procedure.
The ministry added that the spread of the virus currently differs from that of neighbouring countries, because so far, all people diagnosed in Luxembourg have been infected abroad.
The ministry also recalled that the public can consult the FAQ online at www.gouvernement.lu/coronavirus for general information and preventive measures to adopt or call the hotline via tel.: 8002-080.
Anyone with symptoms of an infection (cough, fever or respiratory problems) and returning from a risk area is asked not to go to the doctor or to the emergency room, but instead to call the above hotline or, in an emergency, tel.: 112. Similarly, they are requested not to visit vulnerable people, i.e. those whose immune systems are weak.
