Tuesday marked the opening of the first Luxembourg conference on the documentation and classification of hospital stays: the DCSH Forum.
Luxembourg's Minister of Social Security, Romain Schneider, yesterday opened the DCSH Forum held on Campus Belval of the University of Luxembourg.
The objective of this conference was to highlight the opportunities and perspectives offered by hospital documentation and to allow an exchange of good practices and experiences with international experts in the production and processing of data from this system.
On this occasion, Romain Schneider emphasised that "it is our duty to do everything possible so that the population, including future generations, can have access to quality health care and at the cutting edge of medical technology". He added that: "to target the resources needed to continue delivering high quality services, reliable data is required and hospital documentation is a cornerstone".
