On Monday 14 June 2021, Luxembourg's Minister of Justice, Sam Tanson, swore in Roger Linden as the new President of the Supreme Court of Justice and of the Constitutional Court.

Roger Linden, appointed by the respective Grand Ducal decrees of 25 February and 2 June 2021, will take up his post on 3 July 2021.

As part of the swearing-in ceremony at the Ministry of Justice, Minister Sam Tanson thanked Jean-Claude Wiwinius, outgoing President of the Supreme Court of Justice and of the Constitutional Court for the commitment he has shown throughout its mandate. The retirement of Jean-Claude Wiwinius will be effective from 3 July.

Also present at the ceremony was the President of the Administrative Court and Vice-President of the Constitutional Court, Francis Delaporte.
