On Wednesday 15 July 2026, Luxembourg's national statistical institute, STATEC, published the list of main employers in the Grand Duchy as at 1 January 2026.
According to STATEC, the list is based on the number of employees, broken down by size and economic sector and is the result of a non-mandatory annual survey of companies and groups of companies located in Luxembourg which employ at least 90 people as of 1 January 2026. It covers 387 employers from industry, construction, trade and most service activities.
According to the list, the five largest employers in Luxembourg are Dussmann Luxembourg Group (5,340), CFL Group (5,320), Amazon.com (4,550), Post Luxembourg Group (4,480) and Cactus Group (4,340).
The remainder of the top ten consists of BNP Paribas Group in Luxembourg (3,880), ArcelorMittal Group (3,570), Goodyear Dunlop Tyres Operations SA (3,460), PricewaterhouseCoopers Group (3,330) and Cargolux Airlines International Group (3,310).
