On Monday 4 May 2026, Luxembourg telecommunications company Eltrona announced the appointment of Gerald Demortier as interim CEO.
In a statement, Eltrona confirmed that Gerald Demortier will take up the role from 1 June 2026, following a mutual decision between the company and its current CEO, Bart D’Olieslager, to end their collaboration.
The company noted that this change comes as a phase of transformation has been completed and thanked Bart D’Olieslager for his work and commitment over recent years, during which Eltrona continued to develop its presence on the Luxembourg market.
Eltrona added that Gerald Demortier, who is currently a member of its Board of Directors, has strong knowledge of the company and its strategic challenges.
The company also stated that the transition aims to ensure continuity in governance and operations, as well as stability for employees, customers and partners.
