Mario Treinen Appointed New Director of POST Courrier

POST Luxembourg has announced a reshuffle within its Executive Committee.

After more than eight years at the helm of POST Courrier, Hjoerdis Stahl, Deputy Managing Director and member of the Executive Committee of POST Luxembourg, has decided to put an end to her professional career. She will be succeeded by Mario Treinen as Director of POST Courrier.

Mario Treinen will join the Executive Committee of POST Luxembourg to take over this role with effect from 15 March 2022.

"Hjoerdis Stahl has been able throughout her mandate to bring the know-how and energy necessary to bring POST Courrier as well as the logistics activity towards the success that we know today. We are delighted with the arrival of Mario Treinen and I am confident that the new configuration of the Executive Committee of POST Luxembourg will have the necessary assets to face a rapidly changing sector".

Mr Strasser explained that Mr Treinen’s application was successful after an open internal and external selection process.

A graduate engineer with nearly sixteen years' professional experience, particularly in the supply chain field, Mario Treinen held senior positions in various branches of DuPont in Luxembourg for fourteen years before joining B Medical Systems in May 2020 as Chief Operations Officer.

The reshuffle of the Executive Committee of POST Luxembourg will also result in the appointment of Cliff Konsbruck, Director of POST Telecom and member of the Executive Committee of POST Luxembourg, to the post of Deputy CEO, along with Pierre Zimmer, Chief Strategy Officer of POST Luxembourg.

Hjoerdis Stahl will ensure the transition period goes smoothly until Mario Treinen takes office in March.
