G-Media Sàrl, the company behind Chronicle.lu, is looking for a Sales Executive.

G-Media Sàrl is an independent Luxembourg-registered company active in Information & Communication, with three business divisions:

Publishing: Chronicle.lu;

Events: Discover Luxembourg, British & Irish Film Festival Luxembourg 

MarCom: websites, videos, copywriting, merchandise, etc.

The company is currently looking for one profile:

Sales Executive (full-time, remote work)

Role: the person holding this position will work on implementing the Marketing Plans for the Chronicle.lu online newspaper, as well as the Discover Luxembourg event and the British & Irish Film Festival Luxembourg (BIFFL) in September.

He / she will be responsible for selling advertising / sponsorship / media space. He / she will also co-ordinate all sales activities and be responsible for their own accounts, from pitching and closing the deal to ensuring payment and material delivery.

Required:

• A team player, with ability to work on own initiative;

• Proven ability to initiate commercial contacts and close sponsorship & advertising deals;

• Ability to meet fixed deadlines;

• Previous sales experience;

• Professional approach & appearance;

• Excellent command of English, both spoken & written;

• Very good command of at least one of the official languages of Luxembourg (Luxembourgish, French, German).

Advantageous:

• Previous experience of advertising media sales in Luxembourg;

• Detailed understanding of the Luxembourg advertising landscape;

• Extensive networks on social media;

• Good command of additional languages;

• Holder of a valid driving licence.

This may suit the right profile on a freelance basis.
