Luxembourg's Ministry of Internal Security has announced that four civilians have joined the Grand Ducal Police.

Nazaré Moreira Martins, Ann Kahlki, Stevi Marbes and Mandy Ghys have joined the ranks of the police in the following functions: member of the coordination, administration and logistics section of the judicial police service (capital region), member of the indemnity, bonus and travel service of the finance directorate, member of the coordination, administration and logistics section of the judicial police service (capital region) and Limpertsberg police station.

During the swearing-in, Luxembourg's Minister of Internal Security, Henri Kox, recalled the report he presented to the press last Friday, which addressed the current challenges, projects and priorities of the Grand Ducal Police. In addition to the mass recruitment of police officers, the minister stressed the importance of continuous recruitment within the civilian structure of the police, a structure which also has strong expertise in specialised areas.
