
The accounting, company audit and advisory firm BDO Luxembourg has announced the nomination of Anke Schelling and the arrival of Raphaël Eber as new associates, as well as Benoît Wtterwulghe who joined the firm as an associate earlier this year.
As part of BDO Luxembourg’s growth strategy, the three new associates are expected to provide high quality services to the firm's clientele.
Former CEO of a bank in Luxembourg, former COO of CBP Quilvest and CIO of the Year for 2011, Benoît Wtterwulghe has 25 years of extensive experience in the financial sector including private banking and asset management. He has coordinated the launch of two banks in Luxembourg as well as several international large-scale projects. Mr Wtterwulghe will strengthen BDO Luxembourg's associates’ team to develop its consulting business in the banking, financial, regulatory and IT sectors of BDO Advisory. Through his experience in the field, he knows the challenges of the financial market players particularly well and their needs in Luxembourg and internationally.
Raphaël Eber has more than 20 years of experience in Luxembourg’s financial sector and has vast experience in the structuring and management of alternative investment funds. Before joining BDO Luxembourg, he held management positions with MAS Fund Services, Ocorian SA and Apex Corporate Solutions. In his new role, Mr Eber will concentrate on the development of our fund administration offering for the firm's current and future clients.
After having spent twelve years in a Big 4 firm in Germany and Luxembourg, where she gained significant experience in audit in different sectors, Anke Schelling joined BDO Luxembourg in January 2017 and strengthened from now on the associate team of BDO in the Audit department. Ms Schelling is a Luxembourg certified company Auditor and Wirtschaftsprüferin in Germany and is specialised in the audit of commercial companies and multinational groups, both in Lux-GAAP and IFRS standards.
