Bart van Droogenbroek Appointed New Tax Leader at EY Luxembourg

Alain Kinsch, Country Managing Partner of EY Luxembourg, has announced that Bart Van Droogenbroek will be the new Tax Leader of EY Luxembourg as of 1 January 2019.

Bart, 46, Belgian, has gained over 22 years of experience as an international tax advisor to the world’s largest multinational companies. As a partner of EY Luxembourg for 11 years, he has led the EY Luxembourg International Tax and Transfer Pricing Practice, while serving the EY global organization as Global Tax Telecommunication Sector Leader.

Bart holds a Master Degree in economics, major in tax law (Hogeschool - Universiteit Brussel) and is a member of the Luxembourg Institute of Chartered Accountants (OEC). He is native speaker in Dutch and French, fluent in English and German.

Alain Kinsch thanked Marc Schmitz for having successfully led the EY Luxembourg tax practice for the last 14 years. Marc Schmitz will continue in his role as a senior Tax Partner serving EY’s international clients.
