The communications service of the Business Federation Luxembourg (FEDIL) has seen further changes with the addition of Dr. Michèle Vallenthini as Communications Manager.

The appointment of Dr. Vallenthini followed the arrival of Nicolas Buck as chairman of the FEDIL Board of Directors, and the communications service is due to be further renewed and expanded once Dr. Vallenthini takes office on 15 April 2016.

Michèle Vallenthini, 31, holds a binational PhD in Philology from Paris-Sorbonne University and Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg. She started out as a journalist-documentalist for a daily Luxembourg newspaper before joining a German-Austrian circus and varieties group as Head of Communications and Media.

Michèle Vallenthini will be assisted by Frank Genot after the latter joined FEDIL as a consultant in March 2016.

FEDIL was founded in 1918 as a multisectoral representative of the industry, construction and business sectors and now collaborates with the activities of the International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Geneva. The federation is a member of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) and the Business and Industry Advisory Council (BIAC) to the OECD.
