The Ireland-Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce (ILCC) has announced that it is holding its next event on Tuesday 19 December 2023 from 18:30 at the Hotel Parc Belair in Luxembourg-Merl (111 Av. du Dix Septembre).
The topic of the evening will be "The Business of Foreign Affairs" at which the Ambassador of Ireland to Luxembourg, Jean McDonald, will give per perspectives.
Do you ever wonder what the day-to-day activities of an ambassador are? Many of us meet or see ambassadors at various functions and events here in Luxembourg. But how do ambassadors spend their time? It is hardly just one continuous round of cocktail parties... Also, what is involved in a diplomatic career? Are there different types of routes to being appointed ambassador? Are you interested to find out the answers to these and other questions?
Registration from 18:30. The event commences at 19:00 and will be followed by a networking cocktail.
