Luxembourg association nyuko has announced the launch of its "Young Entrepreneurs" ("Jeunes Entrepreneurs") competition, organised in collaboration with its partner the Banque et Caisse d'Épargne de l'État (BCEE; Spuerkeess).

The Young Entrepreneurs competition is intended for business creators established in Luxembourg since 2018 or 2019, from all sectors of activity. The objectives are to show the diversity of the businesses created, help these young entrepreneurs put themselves forward and give one of them a financial boost.

Nicolas Fries, CEO of nyuko, specified: “The competition is open to all young entrepreneurs, not just those who have gone through our programmes. We wanted to offer a great promotional action which puts forward those who dare to launch out and thus develop Luxembourg, and we are delighted that our partner Spuerkeess also believes in the project and joins us".

The entrepreneurs will be selected according to the economic viability of their activity, the relevance of their solution / product for the Luxembourg market and their team. The preselected candidates will benefit from two training courses around pitch and video creation. They will then have two weeks to produce their video on their own before the videos are published online and submitted to public votes. The entrepreneur with the most votes from the public will win €1,500, offered by Spuerkeess.

Registrations will be open until 13 March 2020. Candidates meeting the criteria (see website) must complete an application form on nyuko.lu
