Farvest has announced that it is organising a new edition of Pitch Your Startup (PYSU) as part of this year's Human Capital Europe (HCE) summit, being held on Tuesday 26 November 2019.

This international startup competition aims at attracting the best and brightest startups from around the world to Luxembourg. Organised by Farvest since 2018, the concept has recently evolved to fit in with the agency's new strategy. PYSU is now a year-long competition divided across the four international seasonal events built by Farvest: HCE in November; FinWinter in March 2020; ICT Spring in May 2020; Creative Summer in July 2020.

The winning startups will be invited to pitch at the grand finale, which will be organised in September 2020. The cross-categories winner will be granted €50,000.

Throughout the year, a total of nine categories will be tackled by various innovative startups. The first edition of HCE in November, which is composed of both the HR and Mobility Summits as well as the traditional HR One Gala and its Luxembourg HR Awards, will focus exclusively on HumanTech and Smart Mobility. HumanTech includes any startup whose primary technology or service aims to provide innovative solutions in the domains of human resources or healthcare, in order to improve the sectors – or to flat out disrupt them. Smart Mobility includes any startup whose primary technology or service aims to create solutions in the domain of transportation and mobility.

The application deadline for HCE's Pitch Your StartUp session is 1 November 2019. Those interested in applying should send an e-mail to info@pitchyourstartup.eu. Further information is available at www.pitchyourstartup.eu.
