On Friday 26 July 2024, the LCGB trade union announced that it had recently signed the renewal of a collective agreement together with the management of Canon Luxembourg.
LCGB, the only union represented at Canon Luxembourg, and the company management have renewed this agreement for a period of years, i.e. from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2026.
Approximately 40 employees will benefit from the following improvements:
- a loyalty bonus per year of service worth €220, which will be increased to €260 from 2026;
- the introduction of meal vouchers, i.e. eighteen meal vouchers for full-time work.
The LCGB said it welcomed the agreement, which "strengthens the purchasing power" of Canon Luxembourg employees.
