Tornado Luxembourg will go up against French team Ducs de Dijon at the Kockelscheuer ice rink on Saturday 15 February 2025.
Christer Eriksson’s team enters the upcoming match following their first defeat in five games in Group A of Division 2 of the French Ice Hockey Championship (FFHG).
Tornado’s current record stands at six regulation wins, two overtime wins, two overtime losses and six regulation defeats, accumulating a total of 24 points.
A victory against bottom-ranked Ducs de Dijon would allow Tornado Luxembourg to maintain their hold on sixth place in the standings ahead of the final round of the regular season. Additionally, it would give Christer Eriksson’s team a chance to move into fifth place, as they currently sit just one point behind - a position that could improve their prospects for the upcoming playoffs.
The first game between the two teams on 24 October 2024 in Dijon ended with a 3:5 victory for Tornado Luxembourg.
