Gaelic Sports Club of Luxembourg (GSCL) has announced that the Benelux GAA Tournament will take place on Saturday 30 May 2026 at the Stade Boy Konen in Luxembourg-Cessange and at the Emile Bintner Stadium in Luxembourg-Gasperich.
The Gaelic football event, the third round of the Breagh Benelux Football Championships, will bring together teams from the Benelux region, as well as Germany, “showcasing local talent and promoting community spirit through Gaelic games”.
According to GSCL, the tournament will run from 11:00 to 16:00, featuring group stage matches throughout the day, followed by the finals in the afternoon at the Stade Boy Konen. The club expects a strong turnout of players, supporters and families, highlighting the event’s role in fostering community engagement around Gaelic games.
“I couldn’t be more excited to welcome everyone to our home tournament here in Luxembourg. Hosting this event brings an incredible buzz to both the club and the entire community. It’s great to see everyone come together, from players to supporters and volunteers, all sharing the same energy and pride. It’s without a doubt one of the best days of the year for the club and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to play on home ground,” said Aine Mullins, PRO and Ladies’ Football Co-Officer at GSCL.
