On Thursday 19 December 2024, the Irish-Scottish-Canadian band, The Outside Track, will perform a concert, as part of its Essence of Irish & Scottish Christmas Tour, at the Centre des Arts Pluriels in Ettelbruck (CAPE) at 20:00.
Their combination of Celtic music, song and dance is expressed by the five band members through fiddle, accordion, harp, guitar, flute, whistle, step-dance and vocals. The energetic band will begin their forthcoming tour of Germany on Wednesday 4 December 2024, crossing the border to entertain their Luxembourg fans just over two weeks later.
The Outside Track were winners of the “Best Group” in both the Live Ireland and the Tradition in Review awards. They were “Best Live Act” nominees in the MG Alba Scots Traditional Music Awards, and won the German Radio Critics Prize, for their album Flash Company.
