The opderschmelz cultural centre in Dudelange is hosting concerts by two Celtic music groups this week.
Irish, Scottish and Canadian girl group The Outside Track are performing at opderschmelz on Wednesday 24 November 2021 at 20:00 (doors open at 19:00). This concert was initially scheduled to take place in December 2020 but was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Outside Track have put together a one-of-a-kind programme with their show "The Essence of Irish & Scottish Christmas".
Pre-sale tickets cost €20 (plus a booking fee); box office tickets cost €25. Free entry with a Kulturpass. Further information is available on https://opderschmelz.lu/agenda/1604_1409.
One day later, on Thursday 25 November 2021, the Celtic Legends will play a concert at opderschmelz. Following a memorable performance at the Zeltik music festival in Dudelange in 2014 and the success of their 2017 tour, the Celtic Legends are returning to Luxembourg on the occasion of their 15th anniversary.
The band is back with a brand new show, bringing with them a little air of the Irish plains. Two hours of colourful whirlpools, dances choreographed by the talented Jacintha Sharpe to frantic traditional rhythms performed by six musicians, all under the musical direction of Sean Mc Carthy, this show is set to transport audiences to the heart of wild Ireland.
Doors open at 19:00, with the concert starting at 20:00 on Thursday.
Pre-sale tickets cost €30 (plus a booking fee); box office tickets cost €35. Free entry with a Kulturpass. Further information is available on https://opderschmelz.lu/agenda/1475_1375.
Both concerts are taking place under CovidCheck rules.
