As more and more people arrive back in Luxembourg from their summer holidays, and the children return to school, so the last throes of summer are celebrated with events all over the country. On Sunday 15 September 2024, Chronicle.lu visited a couple along the Moselle.

In Remich, there was a Crémant and Culture Festival in which many artisanal stalls provided a variety of entertainment, food and crafts for sale, as well as the crémant and live music. Chronicle.lu talked to one of the stallholders, Jane Barclay, a local artisan who was giving demonstrations of the potters art. She explained that she was delighted to be back at the festival after a short break over the last couple of years and was very happy with the organisation.

A couple of kilometres downstream, at the lock of Stadtbredimus, the American Roadrunners Luxembourg held their 34th rally with many American vehicles, some old, some relatively new, as well as a number of stalls selling a range of motoring related Americana, as well as a variety of food stalls and live music.

The good weather helped to ensure that both events were well attended.
