On Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 May 2024, the Luxembourg Guides and Scouts will be holding their 10th annual Celtic Festival (Bealtine) in Neihaischen (Schuttrange).
The event is a unique chance to discover or rediscover the world of the Celts, by taking part in exciting combat shows, participating in workshops, exploring an authentic Celtic camp, listening to live music and sampling a wide range of Celtic specialities.
There will also be classic grilled sausages and tarte flambé and, on Saturday: pork and lamb on the spit and; on Sunday, our classic, beef on the spit. There are also vegetarian/vegan alternatives for each menu.
The workshops will be varied and will include: leather amulets, making shields and swords, necklaces made of soapstone, pottery, herbs, bread baking, animal games, archery, wood carving, making natural materials, natural games, felting, weaving, fabric stamping...
Live music concerts will be with Rambling Rovers; Luxembourg Pipe Band; Pipers, as well as Celtic animation and a big fire show on Saturday evening.
