Wednesday evening saw the launch of "Design for Change Luxembourg" during an event dedicated to the engagement of young people, held at the Forum Campus Geesseknäppchen.

The evening was also the occasion to present the results of the HEC Liège study on "What young people bring to philanthropy". Indeed, 2019 was the year of youth engagement for the climate. A study conducted on the initiative of Banque de Luxembourg in 2017 by the Chair in Philanthropy of HEC Liège has confirmed that young people want to be the change they advocate.

In order to promote this commitment by young people, Banque de Luxembourg has confirmed its support of the UP_FOUNDATION as part of the introduction in Luxembourg of the "I CAN" philosophy of the international Design for Change (DfC) movement. This movement encourages young people to get involved in solving problems that they encounter on a daily basis and that concern them directly. By placing young people at the centre of the action, DfC leads them to discover the active role they can play in society.
