On Thursday 17 April 2025, The Embassy of Japan in Luxembourg announced that applications for the 19th Japan International Manga Contest are now being accepted.
The aim of the competition, organised by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is to promote international exchanges and mutual understanding through Manga culture. This award honours Manga artists who contribute to the development of Manga culture worldwide.
The competition winners will be rewarded with a trip to Japan.
