The British Embassy in Luxembourg has announced that British Ambassador Fleur Thomas opened the doors of the Ambassador's Residence to host the fifteenth graduation ceremony of the Dress
for Success Work Readiness Programme on the evening of Wednesday 19 June 2024.

This event marked a significant milestone for more than 30  women who received their certificates of participation in a programme dedicated to empowering and uplifting women facing challenging circumstances.

The Dress for Success Work Readiness Programme is specifically tailored for women who are beneficiaries of international protection, of temporary protection or third-country nationals registered with ADEM. These participants hail from a diverse array of professional backgrounds including engineering, administration, finance, makeup artistry and photography. Their stories and experiences reflect resilience and
determination, embodying the spirit of the programme, the embassy added.

Of the 37 women who participated in this session, nine have already successfully re-entered the workforce, according to the embassy.

Ambassador Fleur Thomas said: "It is an honour to celebrate the hard work and dedication of these women; and to witness their journey towards professional success and personal growth."
