On Wednesday 7 June 2023, six new ambassadors to Luxembourg presented their official credentials to His Royal Highness Grand Duke Henri at the Grand Ducal Palace in Luxembourg-Ville.
The new ambassadors were as follows:
• His Excellency Mr Luis Enrique Chávez Basagoitia, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Peru;
• His Excellency Mr Abdelbagi Hamdan Kabeir Gawi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sudan;
• His Excellency Mr Jorge Trindade Neves de Camões, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste;
• His Excellency Mr Metodija Belevski, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of North Macedonia;
• Her Excellency Ms Mmasekgoa Masire-Mwamba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Botswana;
• His Excellency Mr Jaime Victor B Ledda, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Republic of the Philippines.
