On Tuesday 22 September 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) announced that applications are now open for its school subsidies for the 2026-2027 academic year.
The subsidy is available to pupils and students who have lived in Luxembourg City since at least 1 October 2025 and who attend a post-primary educational institution full-time during the 2026-2027 academic year. This includes universities, higher education institutions, classical secondary schools and general secondary schools, among others.
Applications, together with the required supporting documents, must be submitted by Friday 30 October 2026 at 16:00 to the VdL's Youth and Social Intervention Department (Service Jeunesse et intervention sociale) at 28 Place Guillaume II, L-2090 Luxembourg.
