The 65th Reunion of the “Lehrernormalschule” (Teacher Training School) at Luxembourg City Hall;

On Friday 15 May 2026, the City of Luxembourg (VdL) reported on the 65th Reunion of the “Lehrernormalschule” (Teacher Training School) during a reception at Luxembourg City Hall in Luxembourg-Ville.
According to the VdL, the event which took place on Tuesday 12 May 2026, marked the gathering of the final class of the historic institution.
The official reception took place in the presence of Paul Galles, the alderman responsible for education and youth, who paid tribute to the school’s lasting legacy.
The Lehrernormalschule, an emblematic institution for teacher training in Luxembourg, provided pedagogical training for primary school teachers for decades until 1961.
