Luxembourg Ministry of the Economy, together with the Ministry of Finance, have updated their table showing the measures of the COVID-19 programme for stabilising the nation's economy.
The synoptic table has been updated with all the government measures decided until 9 April 2020 as part of the economic stabilisation programme aimed at supporting all types of businesses impacted by the COVID-19 coronavirus crisis.
Since the presentation of the initial version on 25 March 2020, the economic stabilisation programme has been enriched with 12 new measures, including an emergency allowance for self-employed workers of €2,500, financial support granted to companies developing an investment or R&D project helping to combat the health crisis, the full reimbursement by the CNS of the cash compensation for sickness of employees or even a modification of the standard abatement for private households employing staff.
Available in French, English and German, the table currently includes a total of 36 measures, also indicating the type of economic player targeted and providing links to more detailed information. The measures are aimed at the self-employed, SMEs and large companies and make it possible to cope with various difficulties encountered, such as the need for liquidity, easier bank financing or job retention.
Also, Guichet.lu has published a lot of CODID-19 related information aimed at the self-employed, SMEs and large companies as soon as measures are taken by the government and offers information sheets to explain the procedures associated with it.
