
The restaurant guidebook publisher Michelin yesterday unveiled the 2016 rankings for Luxembourg (and Belgium).
A total of eleven eateries are listed for the Grand Duchy, with two new one-star restaurants listed (plus 8 for Belgium) - Guillou Campagne in Schouweiler and Favaro in Esch-sur-Alzette. Belgium now has 3 two-star restaurants and 20 two-star restaurants - the same number of two-stars as The Netherlands.
Luxembourg's Michelin-star restaurants: Clairefontaine (Arnaud Magnier, in Luxembourg), La Cristallerie (Fabrice Salvador, in Luxembourg), Ristorante Mosconi (Ilario Mosconi, in Luxembourg), La Distillerie (René Mathieu, in Bourglinster), La Gaichel (Claude Lampson, in Gaichel), Favaro (Renato Favaro, in Esch-sur-Alzette), Léa Linster (Léa Linster, in Frisange), Le Patin d'Or (Philippe Laffut, in Kockelscheuer), Ma langue sourit (Cyril Mollard, in Oetrange), Guillou Campagne (Katel Guillou, in Schouweiler), Le Toit pour toi (Katel Guillou, in Schouweiler).

Meanwhile, a total of 5 restaurants in Luxembourg have been awarded the "Bib Gourmand" (for menus up to €37) for 2016: Bistro 1865 in Clearvaux, Parc Le'h in Dudelange, Dahm in Erpeldange, Bick Stuff in Luxembourg and Mamma Bianca in Luxembourg.
