The new brasserie in the Ban de Gasperich park in Luxembourg City officially opened on Wednesday 10 December 2025.

Located next to the park's main entrance, "Brasserie S" has an indoor seating capacity of 80 people and is divided into two sections: a main room with 50 seats plus a bar with additional counter seating, and a second section with six alcoves providing a more intimate space that seats up to 30 people. Each alcove has its own sliding window that can be opened to reveal the surrounding greenery. The two outdoor terraces can accommodate up to 100 guests, with one facing the park and the other offering views over the Boulevard de Kockelscheuer. The restaurant will be able to serve up to 200 meals per day (table service).

The dining room, alcoves, kitchen, delivery, cleaning, preparation and daily storage areas, as well as the office, are all located on the ground floor. A baby changing area and a restroom for people with reduced mobility are also located here to facilitate accessibility. Customer toilets, staff changing rooms, food storage, the waste disposal room and some technical rooms are located in the basement, accessible via a staircase used by both customers and staff, as well as by a service lift used only by staff. Additional technical rooms are located on the first floor, which is accessible by a staircase from the service area. This floor also provides access to the building's rooftops.

The municipal authorities approved the final project in 2021. Works began in November 2022 and concluded in October 2025. The estimated cost of the project is €7,471,584.31 including fees and taxes.

Brasserie S is run by the Sicoli family - hence the "S" in the name. Speaking to Chronicle.lu at the inauguration, Vanessa Sicoli explained: "We are an Italian brasserie in Luxembourg, and we try to do only Italian food with seasonal products. So, the [menu] will change every [few] months, with seasonal products from the moment. We are open every day from Monday to Sunday for lunch, and for dinner we are open from Wednesday to Saturday." While this Wednesday marked the official inauguration, she noted that the restaurant had already been open for one month.

Brasserie S is located at 8 Boulevard de Kockelscheuer, in the Ban de Gasperich park (the capital's largest park) in the Cloche d'Or district.
