Following Burger King opening a new restaurant on Thursday 5 December 2024 in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, the fast food brand has opened another in Pommerloch, near Wiltz and the Belgian border, on Thursday 19 December, passing a symbolic milestone in the process.
The new restaurant is at 12 Bastnicherstroos in Pommerloch, a strategic region for the development of the brand, known for its commercial dynamism. With this inauguration, Burger Brands Luxembourg has reached ten Burger King restaurants in the Grand Duchy.
The new restaurant has a surface area of 168 m² and has seating both inside and 36 on the terrace as well as drive-through. It has six digital ordering terminals, two Coca-Cola Freestyle machines with more than 100 flavour combinations, and offers table service for a tailor-made experience.
Managed by Livio Galin, this new restaurant relies on a team of 35 people recruited locally. “We are proud to bring the BURGER KING® experience to Pommerloch and look forward to welcoming local and visiting customers,” said Livio Galin.
On the opening day, the restaurant offered its first 100 customers of the drive-in (with a minimum purchase of €15) a fire extinguisher in the colours of the new "King of Pommerloch". In addition, a fire-eater also came to provide entertainment at the opening day, with the restaurant's customers to spinning a "Wheel of Fortune" for prizes including hats, socks, lip balms, telephone cords ..., all stamped with the seal of the "King".
Burger King Pommerloch will be open every day: Sunday to Thursday from 10:30 to 23:00; Friday and Saturday from 10:30 to midnight.
