Royal Thai Embassy Brussels has announced that it is hosting the first Thai Festival in Luxembourg on Saturday 28 September 2024.
The festival is taking place at the CELO multifunctional centre in Hesperange (476 Route de Thionville, L-5886) on Saturday, from 10:00 to 20:00.
Visitors can expect several stalls with Thai food, handicraft demonstrations, a massage area and souvenirs. Moreover, a group of professional artists coming from Thailand will perform traditional dances on stage. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.
The opening ceremony will take place at 12:00 (noon) in the presence of Kanchana Patarachoke, Ambassador of Thailand to Belgium and Ambassador-Designate of Thailand to Luxembourg, together with Hesperange Mayor Marc Lies.
Royal Thai Embassy Brussels noted that visitors will have the opportunity to meet the embassy staff and receive advice on the different visa types for Thailand. The Tourism Authority of Thailand will also be on-site to provide information on tourism in Thailand.
