The Keep Contact agency has announced that the restaurants of brothers Alexandre and Erik De Toffol will come together under the common banner "Black Sheep".

The goal for this new endeavour is reportedly making each of the groups’ establishments a “unique sensory journey” with “living spaces where gastronomy meets art, conviviality and innovation”.

Since it began with the opening of the first Partigiano restaurant, in 2019 shortly before the COVID-19 pandemic, Black Sheep has managed establishments such as Partigiano, Hertz, Bella Ciao and Schuman Restaurant.

The Brasserie Schuman located next to the Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg recently changed its name to Schuman Restaurant. The green wall and ceiling are a nod to the signature of the Black Sheep group, the restaurant has now also changed its look, menu and atmosphere. Schuman Restaurant now also has two distinct atmospheres with a fast lunch service and a festive evening space where DJs provide musical entertainment.

Furthermore, a new Bella Ciao has been opened in Mersch, as the Black Sheep group emphasised its ambition to continue its expansion.

We are delighted to recently welcome our customers to Bella Ciao Mersch and introduce them to our vision of gastronomy. With this new concept, we are ready to take on new challenges and continue to surprise our guests,” said the two brothers, Erik and Alexandre De Toffol.

The Black Sheep Group’s portfolio thus currently includes five establishments in Luxembourg: Partigiano, Hertz, two Bella Ciao (one in Mersch and the other in Place d’Armes in Luxembourg-Ville) and Schuman Restaurant. Its food concepts are distinguished by two inspirations: a fast-casual Pizza and Italian concept and an international cuisine concept. The group currently has a team of 200 employees.
