1st Luxembourg KFC Restaurant to Open in Belval Plaza

Firce Capital and KFC France have announced the arrival in Luxembourg of the international fast food chain, including plans to open ten restaurants by 2028.

The first KFC restaurant in the Grand Duchy will open in the Belval Plaza shopping centre in autumn 2024. KFC selected Firce Capital to establish the brand throughout Luxembourg. Created in 2021, the Firce Capital retail branch advises and supports major international brands in their expansion strategy in Luxembourg and Europe, the company noted.

The very first KFC restaurant in the Grand Duchy will be located in Belval Plaza, one of the largest shopping centres in Luxembourg (37,150 m²). Located in Esch-Belval next to university premises, offices, new housing, concert hall, cinemas, Belval Plaza offers direct access to the station as well as more than 3,000 parking spaces. It is also recording steadily increasing attendance, with more than 7 million visitors in 2023.

As a KFC franchisee, the retail arm of Firce Capital plans to open ten restaurants in Luxembourg over the next five years. The first openings are planned for some time in 2024 and will lead to the creation of more than 500 jobs by 2028.
