On Tuesday 24 February 2026, Luxembourg’s Ministry of Culture and the National Institute for Architectural Heritage (INPA) launched a call for projects, inviting institutions, associations, cultural organisations, municipalities and private individuals to participate in the 2026 European Heritage Days, which will take place from 16 to 18 October 2026.

This year’s theme, “Heritage in Peril: Revive, Resist, Reinvent”, addresses the unprecedented challenges facing cultural heritage, including climate change, urbanisation, migration, conflicts and digitalisation. According to the organisers, the theme underlines the need to safeguard cultural heritage assets and encourages the public to explore, protect and share heritage to ensure it remains alive and meaningful for future generations.

The Ministry of Culture, together with the INPA, is inviting interested public and private stakeholders to submit project proposals by Monday 11 May 2026 via the official website or by email: journeespatrimoine@inpa.etat.lu.
