On Tuesday 4 July, CASINO2OOO in Mondorf-les-Bains served both a lunch and an evening dinner for two sets of guests who has paid €50 for a chaity dinner supporting SOS Village d'Enfants (Monde).
The occasion was the departure earlier in the day of stage 4 of this year's Tour de France, with Grand Duke Henri, Grand Duchess Maria Teresa, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and a host of other dignataries arriving for the start of the day's stage.
Inside the Casino2000 Chapiteau venue, the staff had prepared a 4-course meal which included slices of a special cake baked especially on the occasion, decorated with names of cycling greats, the last 100 winners of the tour - including Luxembourg's Andy Schleck.
SOS Villages d'Enfants Monde is a charity which, since its creation in 1974, has supported numerous projects: the construction of villages and kindergartens, schools, Medical and social infrastructure, as well as family strengthening and emergency assistance programmes. The total proceeds will be fully donated to SOS Villages d'Enfants Monde.
