Sunday 20 November was World Children's Day; this day, which was launched in 1954, highlights the fundamental rights of children and reminds us that, even today, children in our country live in precarious situations, destitution and disability. It is around this day that the Wildgen law firm is organising the action Wildgen 4 Children and wants to mobilise the solidarity and generosity of a whole country for its collection of toys.

Operation Wildgen 4 Children aims to support several associations or charities that welcome and help children in Luxembourg through complex or painful periods. The beneficiary institutions - Elisabeth's shelters and reception centres, Lëtzebuerger Kannerduerf Foundation, Stëmm vun den Strooss, SIPO, Autism Foundation Luxembourg, Foyer Sud, Asbl Solidarité Jeunes, Red Cross, Pro Familia Foundation, TABA Walferdange ... all work, often in the shadows, for the right of children in situations of emergency or need for help and support.

Thanks to this day and to this action, the partners of Wildgen 4 Children hope, as was the case in previous years, to assemble whole trucks of toys for children and adolescents.

The collection will run until 8 December inclusive. Anyone can drop off toys, books, school supplies, consoles, video games, sports equipment (except shoes), bicycles, tricycles and rollers in perfect condition at the following collection points:

• Wildgen: 69 Boulevard de la Pétrusse, Luxembourg

• Michel Greco: 1 rue Julien Vesque, Luxembourg (only bicycles)

• Supermarchés Pall Center: Oberpallen, Steinsel, Strassen

• Agences BIL: Luxembourg, Echternach, Ettelbrück, Esch/Alzette

All gifts are welcome, from the smallest to the most important, so that the end-of-year celebrations are synonymous with joy and happiness for all children.
