Villeroy & Boch has announced that it has launched a special promotion to support SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde projects.
In the run-up to Christmas, starting during November, Villeroy & Boch will donate 10% of the proceeds of the sales of the Rovaniemi Mug from the NewWave Caffè collection generated in their shops in Luxembourg, to SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde. The special promotion runs until Christmas and will benefit various projects in the Cape Verde Islands, which are closely linked to Luxembourg.
To celebrate the fifteenth anniversary of the line, Villeroy & Boch is unveiling a new highlight in the popular NewWave Caffè Cities of the World series. Rovaniemi, a town in the Finnish part of Lapland, the home of Father Christmas. Its red-gold décor on white premium porcelain, portraying a romantic Christmas landscape with the town’s most prominent landmark, the Jätkänkynttilä bridge, as well as the shiny gold reindeer make this mug the ideal companion for winter, especially in the Christmas season.
“I would like to thank Villeroy & Boch for this great initiative in favour of our projects that have been supporting children across the archipelago of Cape Verde for about ten years,” Sophie Glesener, the director of SOS Villages d’Enfants Monde, stated.
