On Sunday 2 October, Make-A-Wish Luxembourg, with the support of ING Luxembourg, is granting its nineteenth wish for five-year-old Alexandre, who is diagnosed with Leukemia.
Alexandre’s greatest wish is to be a SUPERHERO and Make-A-Wish Luxembourg is making that wish come alive. Over twenty volunteers have created a real-life scenario in which the Luxembourg Police will approach Alexandre for his help. The Joker has kidnapped Alexandre’s fairy (a nurse from Centre Hôpital Luxembourg) to magically open the vaults at ING. Only superhero Alexandre will be able match wits and use his superpowers to bring the evil Joker to justice.
The public is invited to support Alexandre as he tames some of the Joker’s frightening associates, a group of bikers, at the Place de Clairefontaine at 13:45 and to witness the dramatic capture of the evil Joker at the ING headquarters on Route d’Esch at 15:15.
Make-A-Wish Luxembourg has been granting wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions since 2013, enriching their experiences with hope, strength and joy. Their goal, as they enter their fifth year, is to grant wishes to all children in Luxembourg diagnosed with life-threatening illnesses. Their success is dependent on support from public donations, corporate sponsorships and their relationships in the Luxembourg medical community.
