In 2011, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Athletics Federation, Yuppi (Cactus' mascot) launched a new sports concept for children 5 to 12 years: Yuppi Mini-Laf. These are foot races for all children who like to run, with each race preceded by a warm-up session moderated by Yuppi. The main goal is not to win because the races are not timed, but fun is brought to the forefront.

With each participation, the children receive a stamp in his "Yuppi Mini-Laf Pass" notebook with Cactus agreeing to pay €1 per stamp to the Kriibskrank Kanner Foundation. After the last race, the children must return the notebooks to Cactus to enable them to compute the total amount collected during the season by children.

Unable to invite all participants to the award, Yuppi selected runners who collected the maximum amounts to congratulate them for their commitment and to give them a small reward. Yuppi did not forget either all the other young participants who have returned their "Yuppi Mini-Laf Pass" and sent them a small gift to thank them for their participation.

Poldi, the mascot of the Fondatioun Kriibskrank Kanner, was delighted to receive €500 for the foundation. The cheque was offered by Cactus at the award ceremony.

Yuppi has already set the date for the first Yuppi Mini-Laf of 2016: Sunday 13 March 2016 at Postlaf the Cloche d'Or.
