The Institute of Financial Integrity and Sustainability (IFIS) has announced that it is organising a luncheon conference at Cercle Munster in Luxembourg-Grund on Wednesday 25 September 2024, from 12:30 to 14:00.
Guest speaker Julie Becker, CEO of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange (LuxSE) and founder of the Luxembourg Green Exchange (LGX), will address the topic: "The Stock Exchange: Sponsor or Facilitator of Change?"
Julie Becker assumed the role of LuxSE CEO in 2021 following over two decades spent in the Luxembourg financial sector, including appointments at the Central Bank of Luxembourg and Dexia.
In 2016, Julie Becker founded the LGX, the world's leading platform for sustainable securities.
Ms Becker is a recognised expert in the field of sustainable finance having represented LuxSE and LGX at several international expert forums. She is also the Chair of LuxCMA, a capital markets industry association established in 2019.
Registration at the event will start at 12:15, with the guest speaker commencing at 12:30. The cost of attending (lunch included) is €55 per person for IFIS members and €85 per person for non-members. On request, a certificate of participation will be provided.
