Job board and organiser of the main recruitment events in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Moovijob, has confirmed that it has been strongly impacted by the crisis related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, this crisis does not prevent the company from moving forward with its numerous projects and

going through this difficult period in a positive way.

Despite the 50% drop in traffic between mid-March and mid-April, the job board activities have managed to recover and now run at full speed, while the organisation of events remains uncertain.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, 7 recruitment events have been postponed to the second half of 2020. Moovijob hoped that the situation would improve to honour these face-to-face events "in complete serenity and security".

As uncertainty still lies ahead for these events, the company decided to turn these physical meetings into 100% virtual events. The various events, well-known to recruitment professionals, such as the Moovijob Tour and Unicareers fairs, and the prestigious Plug&Work evenings, will be held in virtual
versions this year - a revolution of its own, considering the number of participants and the impact of these events on the hundreds of Luxembourg companies attending.

With this year being the 10th anniversary of the Moovijob Tour Luxembourg, the event initially scheduled for 27 March is now planned for 25 September - a 10th anniversary that will be celebrated in the era of virtual meetings and will go even further beyond Luxembourg's borders, thanks to a European media plan.

100% Virtual events planning:

- Friday, 25 September: 2020 Moovijob Tour Luxembourg Fair
- Tuesday, 13 October: 2020 Plug&Work Luxembourg Evening in Paris
