The Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg has announced that it is organising a Youth Citizens' Dialogue entitled “Youth vision: which way should Europe go?” on Wednesday 11 March 2020 at 18:00 at House of the European Union (7 Rue du Marché-aux-Herbes) in Luxembourg-ville.

The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, recently proposed a "Conference on the future of Europe", to be launched on 9 May 2020. The European institutions and the EU member states represented in the Council of Ministers must agree on the form and scope of this process. The result of the prior consultations will therefore significantly influence the choices and proposals of the European Commission.

Within the framework of the visit to Luxembourg of Dubravka Šuica, the Vice President of the European Commission who is responsible for this conference, the Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg is holding a youth citizens' dialogue next Wednesday. The event offers young people the opportunity to debate directly, in English, with the Vice President on the future of the EU.

The Youth Citizens' Dialogue will be followed by a friendly drink.

Any young person wishing to participate in this event should register via email: comm-rep-lux@ec.europa.eu or via tel.: 430-134925.
