Joe Eagan Comedy Productions and Lux Comedy have announced that the next Luxembourg Comedy Showcase in English will take place on Thursday 5 June 2025 from 20:00 - 21:50 (doors open at 19:00) at Le Croque Bedaine in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg (139 Av. du Bois).
Two of the favourite headliners from the past fourteen years are in the evening's line-up: Andy Valvur (Estonia/USA) and Alan Francis (Scotland). They will be joined by Joana Costa (Portugal) who will act as Host MC for the evening.

Alan Francis (Scotland)
After winning Channel 4's So you Think You’re Funny at the 1991 Edinburgh Festival, Alan's been a regular on UK and International stages and done TV stand-up a number of times. TV credits include Mid Morning Matters with Alan Partridge, The BBC Stand-Up Show and The Alan Davies Show. Alan's also been in the dramas Between the Lines and Taggart and performed theatre in the West End, at The Royal Court and The National Theatre of Scotland. His show, Inside Alan Francis, aired on Radio 4 during lockdown.
Andy Valvur (Estonia/USA)
Andy began his comedy career at legendary San Francisco comedy clubs like the Holy City Zoo, Cobbs and The Other Cafe. Since then, he has worked at the Comedy Store in Los Angeles as well as the IMPROV and Catch a Rising Star in New York. He has performed in Australia as well as Europe where he recently headlined the Cologne International Comedy Festival. As a writer he has written for the San Francisco Chronicle, Maxim, Cosmopolitan and the New York Times. He was also a writer for political comic Will Durst’s Emmy nominated PBS show “The Durst Amendment” and Dan Aykroyd’s House of Blues Radio Hour. As a voice-over actor he has appeared in video games such as Star Trek, Top Gun, Psychonauts and others.
