
The Luxembourg Rose Centre has confirmed the names of the six young women of Irish origin who have entered the Luxembourg Rose 2025, with one to be selected as the 2025 Luxembourg Rose at the Rose Ball being held mid next month .
Aoife Burke, Aisling Guilfoyle, Saoirse Goes, Clare O’Donohoe, Clare Stroomer and Niamh O’Doherty will be introduced to the guests at the Ball, before being interviewed individually on stage. This follows formal interviews with the judging panel taking place during the week prior to the Ball. The Luxembourg Rose will be crowned during the evening’s events and will represent the Grand Duchy at the Rose of Tralee International Festival in Co. Kerry, Ireland, in August 2025.
On Saturday 12 April 2025, the Rose contestants spent a day together, organised by the Rose Selection Committee: the day started off with breakfast with the Irish Ambassador to Luxembourg, Jean McDonald, in the Ambassador’s residence, prior to visiting the Family of Man exhibition in Clervaux courtesy of the CNA, Luxembourg's national audiovisual centre. Following lunch in Clervaux, the Rose contestants attended the GAA BeNeLux Football Championships in Stade Boy Konen in Cessange where Luxembourg GAA’s men and womens' teams both emerged victorious in their respective tournaments.
The Rose Ball 2025 is being held at the at Hotel Parc Alvisse in Dommeldange on Saturday 17 May 2025.
